In the latest issue of the Industrial Law journal [subscription required] published in the United Kingdom there are number of interesting book reviews, including one by Lisa Rodgers Adjudicating Employment Rights (2015) Ind Law J 44: 281-284. The book is Adjudicating Employment Rights: A Cross-National Approach by Susan Corby and Pete Burgess [Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan, 2014, 267 pp, hardback, ISBN 9781137269195]. There are 10 countries included in the study and happily South Africa is one of them. The book investigates the nature of institutions and the efficiency of their operation in different national contexts – France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden and the USA.
